As you probably know, @jaecho and I run Barder.art, a resource sharing platform for the arts. We've primarily self-funded this since 2020, besides a seed gift from MOCA in 2021.

To make this more financially sustainable for us, and in the ethos of Barder being a peer-to-peer resource sharing platform, we are turning to our peers to try to find 12 supporters in 2023 to each cover 1 month of our baseline expenses with a $200 tax-deductible gift. 

Asking for money is the worst, and we know it's a big ask, but if you think you could be one of those sponsors, know that it would be deeply appreciated. 

If you (or someone else you know!) might want to give more or less, we also have paid subscriptions on a sliding scale starting at $20 annually and are working to build out a recognized sustaining group of higher level pledges. You can learn more or donate at barder.art/support.
